Mint

So do you have herbs in your garden?
Someone asked...
Being real novice at gardening that time preferred to keep quiet.
Then back home started searching for herbs...
ahaaa tulsi mint coriander all these are herbs my dear..
and then I started exploring more.
Mint is easiest to grow and got one readily from friend of mine.It spread like crazy and then slowly just died ๐Ÿ˜
My hunt for mint again started and then one day got enlighten by one utube video ๐Ÿ˜†
You can grow mint at home from mint sticks that you get from market..wholla
and it actually worked.
Mint flourished again in my garden.
At least once a day you will find me sniffing mint leaves. It refreshes you like anything.Try it ๐Ÿ˜Š

Tulsi

This should have been my first post but somehow missed it.It has been my first plant and its been around always.
Someone coughing I pluck few leaves for kadha, pluck few more to  offer prasad ,sometimes just pluck few to chew.
This forgiving plant doesn't mind.
It is always there to give i feel.

Roses are Red

Is garden complete without Rose?
May be not.
But frankly speaking I was scared to get that home.
After all it is the king of flowers and it needs to be treated like a king.
Sunlight.. just perfect
water..just perfect
fertilisers..timely
plus daily care and pampering...
you miss any of this and then เคฐुเคธूเคจ เคฌเคธเคคे เคคे ๐Ÿ˜€

got this one from my father in law for few months as he is away..
เคชाเคนुเคฃเคšाเคฐाเคฒा เค†เคนे เคนे.
but looks like it has settled now.
First day of navratri bud bloomed and spread such a happiness...cant express it in words.

Tagar..

This one joined my family very late.
I had seen this plant at nursery ,local plant vendors but never thought of buying it.
"เคคเค—เคฐीเคšं เคाเคก เค•ाเคฏ เคฒाเคตाเคฏเคšं ? "this attitude.
But one day I saw this sitting prettily on my friends two wheeler footrest on its way to new home and couldn't resist to get one for my own garden.

This is the most modest plant that I have had so far.
No pampering needed like rose.
If you give fertiliser it will give more flowers and even if you don't it won't  mind.It will continue flowering.
Simplicity of this plant is something I appreciate a lot.
And if you observe closely shades of green its leaves display its amazing.
It sheds old leaves and gets new ones so effortlessly and silently and you get this evergreen plant throughout the day with white flowers smiling happily.

Balcony Garden

Its been more than three years now...
The bond is getting deeper and stronger day by day.
It all started with one clay pot with tulsi plant left behind by flat owner.
I wasn't sure about having plants in this new home.Maintaining plants is like taking care of babies. They can't talk. You have to water them ,give fertilisers ,remove weeds ,touch them ,feel them and develop bond and then those small babies open up to you.Its a big responsibility. But some bonds are meant to be formed.Tulsi plant survived all odds of painting carpentry for about 2 months till we actually shifted.
And then I decided to have few more friends for tulsi.
Some plants adjusted well to my balcony garden where as few were around for few months and died. They replaced by new one.
Over these 3 years have taken lot of pictures of these babies.
Writing post on this favourite place was always there on my mind but then realised this is a special place and have so many good memories linked to it. With growing garden new plants coming in and old one showing different flavours single post won't do the justice. So decides to dedicate entire blog to it.
As i am enjoying my garden and enjoying writing about it ,hope everyone who stop by have some wonderful moments.
